It was a perfect morning along the pristine coast of Bundjalung Country, Byron Bay, with these lovely oceanic souls, Dana, Kat and Elena. We watched the warmth of the sun as it sparkled across the turqoise waters of the surf coast, before diving into the surf and capturing some awesome moments along the waves. I always find it so empowering to see how strong and feminine female surfers are. I admire their tenacity for going headfirst into huge waves and the way they move as if they are dancing. I myself am a novice surfer, and loved leanring and watching the girls in their element. We also had the honour of being greeted by a few ocean friends as well, some Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins that danced and played in the waves along the girls.
I hope you enjoy these images, as much as I enjoyed capturing them.
